The French newspaper Le Journal du dimanche claims that in its disposal there is a document proving that the payment to the head of UEFA Michel Platini from FIFA was not a secret.

Swiss Federal office of justice of 25 September has opened a case against the head of FIFA Joseph Blatter, who is suspected of being illegally transferred two million Swiss francs Platini in 2011.

Money allegedly was transferred Platini for the execution of works in the period from January 1999 to June 2002. The Frenchman also stated that this payment was made under a contract in full accordance with the law. In early October, the FIFA Committee for ethics dismissed Blatter and Platini for 90 days from any activity related to football.

The document that was included in the available media included the UEFA Executive Committee in Stockholm 17 years ago. It shows that all members of the Executive Committee of UEFA were aware of FIFA Platini paid 1 million Swiss francs per year.

“This document shows that contrary to the information on which the accusation is built, the contract of Michel Platini and FIFA had no mystery of nature and many people from UEFA and FIFA knew about it in 1998,” said one of the lawyers Platini.

The adjudicatory chamber of FIFA on November 23 opened a case against Blatter and Platini on the basis of reports sent by the ethics Committee of FIFA. It was reported that the two officials could face a lifetime suspension. Until the end of December the arbitration chamber shall render its verdict, reminiscent of the “R-Sport”.
