The Swiss authorities seized the accounts of the former Minister of agriculture of Russia Elena Skrynnik in the framework of a criminal investigation about the laundering of illegally acquired assets. About it reports “Interfax” citing a source familiar with the situation.

“At the request of the Swiss procuracy blocked account Skrynnik in the amount of 60 million Swiss francs (61 million dollars),” – said the Agency interlocutor. According to him, the former Russian Minister, now living on the French Riviera, is involved in a criminal investigation conducted by Swiss investigators.

“According to investigators, in the period from 2007 to 2012 on various accounts Skrynnik in Swiss banks received $ 140 million, the origin of which has caused serious concern”, – said the source. He reported that “the Swiss prosecutors and investigators work closely with Russian colleagues and we intend to bring the case to court”.

Itself Skrynnik, the message “Interfax” about the arrest of her accounts in Switzerland has denied. “I even such have no money” – she said “Russian news service”.

According to Skrynnik, she doesn’t know how he could receive such information. “I refute. It’s just a complete lie,” – said Skrynnik. The former head of the Ministry of agriculture stressed that her lawyers will be to understand why the media have such messages.

According to “Interfax”, referring to the so-called case of “Rosagroleasing” – state-owned companies involved in servicing the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation.

A group of top officials and businessmen accused law enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation of involvement in the theft of 1,125 billion rubles, owned Rosagroleasing.
