The human rights center “memorial” recognized political prisoner anarchist Dmitry Bochenkova, which became another person involved in “marsh business” at the end of last year. This was reported on the websiteof the organization.

Buchenkov, candidate of political Sciences, prior to arrest working as the Deputy head of the Department of the history of medicine and the social Sciences and Humanities national research medical University named after Pirogov, chief editor of the newspaper “Moscow train”, was arrested on 2 December 2015. He was charged with participation in the events on Bolotnaya square on 6 may 2012 on part 2 of article 212 (“Participation in mass riots) and part 1 of article 318 (“Use of violence not dangerous for life or health, against a representative of authorities”) of the criminal code. On 3 December the Basmanny court of Moscow sanctioned the arrest Bochenkova for a period of two months.

According to human rights activists, in violation of the code of criminal procedure the trial was conducted without notice to counsel Bochenkova, and employees of the Center on counteraction to extremism (Center “e” the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation) provided the pressure on the accused.
