In Kiev continue to discuss the solution of the First channel to send from Russia at the international song contest “Eurovision-2017″ in Kiev singer Yulia Samoylova. Earlier it became known that this question deals with the security Service of Ukraine (SBU). Meanwhile, the interior Ministry did not rule out that the Russian artist who moves in a wheelchair, unable to prosecute because she was on tour in Crimea.

As stated on Monday, the adviser to the interior Minister of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko, he had no doubt that the issue of selection of candidates from Russia on “the Eurovision” took place “under tight control of the Kremlin.” “And there could not know that Yulia Samoilova was on tour in the occupied Crimea, and thus violated the legislation of Ukraine”, – said the official representative of Department.

“The choice of Russia puts Ukraine in front of two solutions, each of which carries a certain risk for the political situation and will be used to create an atmosphere of hatred towards our country,” continued Gerashchenko.

According to him, Kiev has two options. Ukraine can simply not let the Russian contestant on the territory of the country “for the fact of violation of the rules of visiting the occupied territory of the Crimea”. However, this option, according to Gerashchenko, is not optimal and will cause a wide resonance.

“It will be used by the Russian propaganda machine to fan the hatred against our country on its territory, and among Ukrainian citizens on occupied territory. Like, watching a girl with physical disabilities, the singer is not allowed in Ukraine, not allowing her to represent Russia in the European song contest,” he explained.

On the other hand, Kiev may still allow the singer to the country, but also to attract her “responsible for the violation of the state border”. “So we can’t make exceptions for anyone and encourage thus violating the rules of crossing the state border of Ukraine. Let him come, but is responsible for violations of the law of Ukraine”, – said Gerashchenko.

“This decision will be optimal with the different parties, as we do not forbid the visit of the Russian competitors in Ukraine, but publicly show on its example that it is not going to leave unpunished violations of the state border of Ukraine. I think that our Western partners will understand this decision”, – said the adviser to the interior Minister of Ukraine.

Earlier on Monday a press-the Secretary of SBU Elena Gitlyanskaya said that her Department will take a decision on entering Samoilova in the country to participate in “Eurovision” after studying the issue. “I emphasize that our position will be based solely on the norms of the Ukrainian legislation and the interests of national security,” she explained.

Popularity Samoilova received through participation in the project Alla Pugacheva “factor a” in 2013 where she took second place, and Pugachev awarded her the prize “Golden star of Alla”. Samoilova participated in the opening ceremony of the winter Paralympic games in Sochi in 2014. On “the Eurovision” in Kiev, the singer will perform the song Flame is burning.
