Ministry of education and science has not found any violations in the film where Bulk compared to Hitler
Ministry of education the audit found no violations of the law in the actions of management of the Vladimir state University (VlSU) in conducting lectures for students on April 18 of this year, when they were shown a filmin which opposition leader Alexei Navalny was compared to Adolf Hitler.
“This meeting was not a political event, as the aim was not propaganda of any political ideas and not held students campaigning in support of any political party”, – is spoken in the reply of the Ministry of education seen by the journalists of the portal “Provladimir”.
The Department also stressed that the students themselves made the decision about attending lectures, and information about it is brought to them “in the usual form through the directorates of the institutions in which they study”.
“The purpose of this meeting – legal education of students and prevention of offences of an extremist nature. Experts of law school, who arranged the event, introduced independently selected materials, including videos, aimed at legal education”, – noted in the Ministry of education.
Earlier it was reported that on 18 April the students of the Vladimir University showed a film in which the Bulk is compared to Adolf Hitler and called a “psychopath”. In addition, after the film, the head of the regional law schools for the prevention of extremism among young people Alla Byba hinted that the protesters can expect unpleasant consequences.
The video was shown at the meeting on the theme “Young people… Who are truly interested in the future?..” The next day management of VlSU has denied comparing Navalny to Hitler in the film shown to students.
Shortly before the incident, the TV channel “Rain” reported that the Kremlin has decided to launch a campaign to discredit Navalny and created for this special Department, relieving discrediting his videos, movies and video games. As explained by the TV channel one of the sources, with the Bulk of “fighting like with Hitler.”
Alexei Navalny became the first presidential candidate to actively started campaign. In March, he initiated a protest action “we won’t Dimon”, held in 80 cities of Russia, and Moscow which has led to the unprecedented arrests. Currently, the campaign’s activities focused on the opening of election headquarters in the regions.
