Set in the village of radozda, the monument to the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin was desecrated, said the owner of the site and initiator of the installation of the monument, the head of the society “Peaks of Russian civilization” YUST Rugeley. According to him, a bust of the astronaut threw the fruits growing next to a grenade, reports RIA “Novosti”.

The incident occurred on the night of October 20. “I wanted to change one of the light bulbs that illuminate it, then noticed that the monument had been desecrated. Tried to desecrate, and not to break,” said Rugeley.

According to him, “next growing wild pomegranate and apparently, a group of people broke its ripe fruit and showered” the monument from different angles. Rugeley also said that he himself, or the monument had not attacked.

The location of the bust, not the busiest. According to Ruhela, version that unknown walked past and just decided to mess about, and is no longer, as the night was rain. I should add that the police arrived at the scene and inspected.

A monument to Yury Gagarin was opened on 12 April in the village of Radovici, municipality of Tivat to the 55th anniversary of the first manned flight into space. The event was attended by hundreds of local residents and representatives of the Russian Diaspora in Montenegro. The author of the monument – Moscow sculptor Vadim Kirillov. The total height with the pedestal is 2.7 meters, the bust of Gagarin height of 90 inches made of acrylic cement, to simulate the helmet used polished stainless steel.
