One of the oldest sports publishers in the country – “Soviet sport” – declared bankrupt the arbitration court of Moscow. Concerning it openly competitive manufacture for a period of six months. Bankruptcy Trustee JSC approved Sergei Krasilnikov from the Association of DMSO, according to a decision posted on the website of the court.

“After reviewing all the case materials, examining and evaluating all the presented evidence, the court considers the petition of the interim Manager about recognition of JSC “Publishing house “Soviet sport” bankrupt and opening of bankruptcy proceedings is justified”, – stated in the decision of the judge Catherine Ignatova. No interim Manager Alena Prikhodko, representatives of the debtor at the meeting did not appear, although he was notified about it.

The court decision noted that the acknowledged debt of the publishing house is 934 155 rubles. From the report of temporary administrator approved in January, it follows that in JSC there is no possibility to make settlements with creditors, the restoration of financial and economic activities is not possible. The report of the liquidator Sergei Krasilnikov about the bankruptcy proceedings will be heard on March 27.

The court in January, entered the publishing house “Soviet sport” surveillance procedure. The bankruptcy of the publishing house was initiated at the request of a former employee of Vladimir Ginzburg, to whom it owes 348 thousand rubles salary, reports RIA “Novosti”. The judge Ignatova decided to collect in favor of Ginzburg’s expenses for payment of registration fee of six thousand rubles.

The publisher has nothing to do with the publishing house “Soviet sport” and the eponymous newspaper. “At the time, “Komsomolskaya Pravda” owned “Soviet sport”. They had a legal entity that they created. We bought the brand, it was transferred to another legal entity. “Komsomolskaya Pravda” in fact bankrupted the pacifier. It has nothing to do with the publishing house “Soviet sport”, explained “Agency business news” Fyodor Shcherbakov, managing Director of the holding “Ura” media, which owns the newspaper.

According to the register, the sole founder of the JSC “Publishing house “Soviet sport” with a share capital of more than 4.6 million rubles is property management.

The publishing house was established by the state Committee of the USSR and included into the system of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on Affairs of publishing houses, polygraphies and book trade. The book sector of the publishing house consisted of four editions, producing books on General issues of physical culture, basic and applied sports and popular mass literature, including guidance for self-study exercises, preparation and delivery of norms of GTO.

Then it was reorganized into the Federal state unitary enterprise (FSUE), whose founder was the state Committee of Russia. In 2004, the Federal state unitary enterprise was reorganized into open joint-stock company. “Since then until the present time, despite the change in legal status, the publishing house works under the guidance of and in close contact with the Federal body of Department of physical culture and sports, as the leading publisher in the industry”, – said on the website of the publisher. “Soviet sport”, as noted on the website, produces educational, scientific, methodological, reference and legal literature for the industry of physical culture, sport and tourism.

Recall that the crisis has not survived well-known publishing house “amphora”, which owes a lot of money to creditors and curtailed activity.
