“This is a crime, a criminal offense. Privacy is a fundamental human right, which has increasingly eroded in the modern world,” he said.

Fonseca emphasized that “everyone has the right to respect for private life, be he king or beggar.” He also said that the company don’t have thoughts about who could leak that he characterized as “limited hacking”. Fonseca also added that previously, Mossack Fonseca has never been “convicted or accused of any wrongdoing”.

The Australian tax office will conduct a large-scale investigation involving more than 800 citizens of the country due to the fact that their names are mentioned in documents from the Panamanian firm Mossack Fonseca, published by journalists, reports Reuters.
