The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has approved the candidacy of Vitaly Mutko, who holds the post of Minister of sports, to the post of Deputy head of the government in the field of sport, tourism and youth policy, reports “Interfax”.
Mutko’s candidacy for the post of Deputy Prime Minister Putin presented the head of the government Dmitry Medvedev. For the post of sports Minister, the Prime Minister proposed to appoint Pavel Kolobkov, who was previously Deputy sports Minister. The President agreed with both proposals.
As reported TASS, the Prime Minister instructed the government staff to prepare the appropriate documents for inclusion in the President’s administration and further signing by the head of state.
Medvedev stressed that the new appointment Mutko will more adequately represent this area in government and closely at her to concentrate. “This decision will allow one person from the leadership of the government to concentrate on these responsibilities, because right now these questions, that is, part-time other Deputy Ministers.
