Suspension Finnish midfielder of CSKA Moscow’s Roman Eremenko is not associated with the football and doping. This opinion TASS expressed by Deputy Prime Minister and the President of the Russian football Union Vitaly Mutko.

The disciplinary Committee of the Union of European football associations (UEFA) 7 Oct suspended Eremenko for 30 days and then extended the suspension indefinitely.

The reasons for the dismissal are unknown. It is expected that the final decision will be announced on 14 November.

“Problems Eremenko with UEFA have nothing to do with doping and generally for football. Neither the League nor the club are in no way to blame, is a private matter of the player. I would not want in any way to comment on it, let’s wait for the final verdict of the UEFA,” – said Mutko.

Mutko made clear that the suspension Eremenko is not related to football 13.11.2016
