In Karelia near Segezha colony 7, where the opposition activist Ildar Dading, who has previously complained of assault and battery, police detained eight activists of St. Petersburg, who stood in single pickets with posters “Russia will be free”, “No torture of prisoners” and “Freedom to political prisoners”.

As reported by “Rosbalt” with reference to the representative of the protesters Daniel Theodori, Karelia came 12 St. Petersburg activists. “Young men and women drove up to the entrance to the colony, where stood in pickets at a distance of 50 meters from each other with posters reading: “Russia will be free!”, “No torture prisoners!”, “Sadists from prison – in jail!”, “Freedom Ildar Dadina, defender of the Constitution!”, – said Theodori.

The rally was interrupted at the request of employees of the Federal penitentiary service in 15 minutes. “After the incident, then altercation with the employees of the FSIN, pulled up by the police and the local interior Ministry, eight of the 12 activists were detained”, – the activist told.
