North Korea called the decision by South Korea on the suspension of transactions in cross-border industrial Park “Declaration of war”, Reuters cites the statement of the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (KCNA).

Earlier it became known that the North Korean authorities decided to freeze all the property of South Korean companies in the joint technology Park near the city of Kaesong North of the demilitarized zone, informs RIA “news”.

“Equipment, materials, products and all other assets of the enterprises and the authorities of the South side in the industrial zone in Kaesong completely frozen,” – said in a statement the North Korean Committee for the peaceful reunification of the Motherland.

On the eve of the South Korean government announced the termination of work of their companies in Technopark in connection with the launch by Pyongyang of the rocket of distant radius of action.

In response, North Korea expelled all South Korean citizens from the industrial zone and closed in the South side.

The South Korean government went into shutdown Kaesong in order to deprive the Pyongyang source of income, figuring that through this joint zone, the DPRK received 616 billion KRW (about 511 million U.S. dollars).

Recall, 7 February, Pyongyang announced the successful launch of the carrier rocket with the artificial companion of the Earth. The launch from the Western test range Soha (Tongan-Ni) in the province of North Pyongan Province.

After that, the UN Security Council has promised to impose new sanctions against the DPRK. U.S. Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power declared that Washington will facilitate the acceptance of serious measures by the security Council against North Korea. Barack Obama and South Korean President Park Geun-Hye also talked about the introduction of new sanctions the two countries.
