North Korean Agency tstak has extended the photos of the launch of missiles from a submarine, made the day before. For the test of a ballistic missile was observed by the head of state, Kim Jong-UN.

The submarine, according to his information, were in an underwater position at the maximum depth. The missile was equipped with the engine of a new type of solid fuel, the test allowed to check the reliability of the fuse for nuclear warheads, said KCNA.

According to Kim Jong-UN, as a result of this test, the DPRK “had access to another vehicle for the application of a powerful nuclear attack in accordance with the strategic plan of the Central Committee of the workers’ party of Korea (WPK)”. The Supreme commander urged scientists and technologists “to take measures to further strengthen nuclear capability to strike the U.S. imperialists and South Korean group of traitors at a time when the party decides”.

The launch was carried out on the eve of the national holiday of the country – the establishment of the Korean people’s army, which will be celebrated on April 25.

In January 2016 in Pyongyang claimed to have conducted its fourth nuclear test – the country announced that it had tested a hydrogen bomb. A month later, on 7 February, the company launched a satellite using a rocket that could be used for nuclear strike.

After the intensification of military trials in North Korea earlier this year in March, the UN security Council approved a new, unprecedented tough resolution against North Korea. The document envisaged a ban on the export of Pyongyang coal, iron ore, titanium, vanadium, gold and other valuable metals, as well as embargo on the DPRK aviation and rocket fuel. In addition, sanctions were imposed in respect of the banking sector, mandatory inspection of cargo and targeted measures against persons and entities associated with nuclear and missile programs. Sanctions against the country has also expanded to South Korea and the United States.
