Specialized educational scientific center (SESC) of physico-mathematical and chemical-biological profile of the Novosibirsk state University (NSU) opened the Sino-Russian school in the Chinese city of Karamay. In an educational institution, created in conjunction with the graduate school of the city of Karama will be two classes, where students will train for specialized SESC subjects – physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology, reports the website of the Russian University.

The study will go by the SESC of NSU in Russian. After school children will be able to continue their education at NSU and other universities in Russia.

The official opening took place on 3 November. In the first set of Chinese-Russian school got 23 of the student. All secondary students (years 10-12). In the long term – a set of two classes (physical-mathematical and chemical-biological) the total number of 50 people, said the Director of the SESC of NSU Nicholas Yavorsky.

This academic year, Chinese students will attend the study of the Russian language. The following year in Karamay coming teachers who will teach children physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology.

Karamay urban County in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous region of China in 320 km North-West of Urumqi. The population is about 290 thousand. In 1955 near the town was discovered one of the largest in China oil fields. Since that time, the town developed as a center of extraction and processing of oil. Sister city – Iskitim in the Novosibirsk region.
