One of the richest deputies of the state Duma Alexander Skorobogatko from the faction “United Russia” decided ahead of time to hand over the mandate to the draft resolution, supported by Monday, November 28, the Duma Committee on rules and published on the website of the Parliament.
Before that, Skorobogatko has written the application for addition of Deputy powers. The document States that, in accordance with paragraph “a” of part one of article 4 of the Federal law “About the status of a member of the Council of Federation and status of Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation” the state Duma decides to count early terminated the powers of Deputy Alexander Skorobogatko, “21 November 2016 on the basis of its written statement of resignation of Deputy powers”.
According to this paragraph, the powers of a Deputy shall be terminated in case of loss of citizenship of the Russian Federation or acquisition of citizenship of a foreign state. Care Skorobogatko can be linked to his intention to return to business, said RBC a source in “an United Russia”.
The decision on early termination of powers of the Deputy of the state Duma may pass on Friday, 2 December.
