Pierre Richard has cancelled concerts in the Crimea because of the “threats” of the Ukrainian authorities
French actor Pierre Richard refused to hold concerts in the Crimea because of threats to the Ukrainian side, RIA “Novosti” with reference to the organizers of his concerts.
As told organizers of the tour of an artist in Russia, the official reason for the French representatives of the artist will formulate during the day. “While we can say that in the current political and economic situation to visit Sunny Crimea is not possible. It is connected first of all with a tough and aggressive pressure on the part of Ukraine. Even with threats to life and health”, – said the interlocutor.
On 10 and 11 February Richard was planning to make in Sevastopol and Simferopol with the show “Pierre Richard III”. Speeches of Richard in Moscow from 4 to 7 February will be held.
What exactly the Ukrainian government threatened Richard in the case of travel in Crimea is not specified. It is known that on a week tour in the Crimea abolished the Italian tenor Alessandro Safina. He pointed out that “the Ukrainian government has imposed certain restrictions under which he who enters into the region of Crimea, will be deemed undesirable especially in Ukraine”, and he has also scheduled concerts.
