On November 24 the Moscow city court has sentenced a 32-year-old Muscovite Shamil Badretdinova. The man, who worked as a fitter-plumber, convicted of the brutal murder of a pensioner for the purpose of robbery. The motive for the killings was the desire Badretdinova to pay off debts.

The decision of the court Shamil bedretdinov will spend behind bars for 16 years. To serve time it will be in the correctional colony of strict regime, reports the official site of Prosecutor’s office of Moscow.

It is established that on the night of September 17, 2015 “Shamil bedretdinov, who worked as a plumber and had numerous outstanding credit obligations, decided to kill him previously familiar 78-year-old Muscovite and steal her property.”

The victim lived in the house on Kutuzovsky prospect. Shamil knew that over the door of the pensioner installed a surveillance camera. So it “appears in the right part of the house through another entrance,” climbing up onto the roof via the attic.

The pensioner let Badretdinova to the apartment, as he “referred to the leaks and complaints from neighbors.” The apartment plumber struck the woman at least 30 stab wounds from which she died. The killer stole 90 thousand rubles and jewelry.

The jury found Badretdinova guilty under paragraph “h” of part 2 of article 105 (“Murder, coupled with robbery”), item “C” of part 4 of article 162 (“the Robbery made with application of the subject used as the weapon, with causing of heavy harm to health of the victim”) of the criminal code. Plumbing-the killer threatened with lifelong term of imprisonment.
