State Duma Deputy and former Prosecutor of the Crimea Natalia Polonskaya has put in a number of Vladimir Lenin and Adolf Hitler, calling them “fiends of the twentieth century”. This was mentioned in a post in his LiveJournal, talking about the sanctity of Tsar Nicholas II and his alleged insult in the film “Matilda,” which it look not going.
In a series of “monsters” Poklonskaya also listed Leon Trotsky and Mao Zedong. In her view, these people “shed a sea of human blood, does not cause such rejection as murdered with his Family, kind and dear sir, dramatically improve the welfare of its people.” Poklonskaya claims that for her “the Emperor Nikolay A. it is the iron road, lowest taxes in the world, accessible to all education, the democratic labor (labour) law, the glorification of the Saints, building of temples and monasteries, preservation of originality of Russia”.
Later, explaining the reference to Lenin and Hitler in the same row of monsters, Poklonskaya said RIA “Novosti”that was his personal opinion, not related to the position of colleagues in the “United Russia”.
“We have the same freedom of speech. This is purely my personal opinion, my civil position. I’m not here to represent the public some opinion,” she said.
The leader of the Russian Communist party Gennady Zyuganov called the comparison of Hitler with Lenin on the eve of national unity Day, “an absolute provocation”. Vice-speaker of the state Duma “United Russia” Peter Tolstoy stressed that Russia had expressed “private opinion”, which is not the position of the faction.
