“I fundamentally disagree with court verdict, because in this case it is necessary to put some point and go to the rigor,” said it on air of TV channel “Russia 24″, reports TASS.

“There is a question in General about the legality of the sentence. The Prosecutor’s office said, I fully support their colleagues that they will appeal the verdict. And I wish my colleagues success,” added Taylor.

The MP also noted that the justice of the demands of the public prosecution, which asked for the accused, “commensurate with the offense and the social danger of the act” the penalty of imprisonment. Taylor questioned the fairness of mitigating circumstances.

The verdict of the participants of the race on the Gelandewagen, one of whom was the son of the Vice-President of “LUKOIL” Ruslan Shamsuarov, was read on October 17. The court sentenced Shamsuarov and another participant of the case to 300 hours of compulsory work for everyone. The SUV was confiscated to the state revenue. According to VTSIOM, more than 80% of Russians admitted such a sentence too soft.
