The owner of RBC Mikhail Prokhorov had a meeting with the leadership of the media holding. The businessman assured the employees that would support the wording in a legal dispute with Rosneft, which is required from RBC three billion rubles for the article about the head of the oil company Igor Sechin.
As reported RNS , citing sources in the RBC, Prokhorov is going to attract lawyers of the group “ONEXIM” to resolve the dispute with Rosneft. “Shareholder held a meeting with employees of the company, where were discussed including the situation with the claim of “Rosneft” to the RBC. He said he intends to support the wording in this situation,” – said one of the sources.
The meeting with the leadership of Prokhorov’s RBC was prepared several months and took place about two weeks ago. Information about what lawyers “Oneksima” attracted to the process, confirmed another source close to the media. “Of course, our shareholders will protect the interests of RBC,” said he.
The representative of RBC Egor Timofeev said that the holding is attracted to the protection of the bar “Gridnev and partners”. A source close to RBC, the RNS explained that the Board “Gridnev and partners” has experience in representing interests of ONEXIM group.
