The next day, according to Dading, he was cuffed behind the back and hung by the handcuffs. In this condition, causing severe pain, he stayed there for half an hour. Dadina then threatened that he would rape another prisoner, if he agrees to stop hunger strike.
The Federal service of execution of punishments (FSIN) confirmed that by Dadina used force, but explained that it was done involuntarily – since September 11, he “rudely refused to leave the chamber, take the position for the search, began to miss the hands of employees for uniforms”.
However, the allegations of beatings in the penitentiary denied, stating that the medical examination did not reveal the prisoner of bruising. According to Kalyapin, together with Pavel Sicovam he interviewed ten people who at different times were kept in the cooler, and they all described a similar situation with dipping head in the toilet, about which wrote Dading. In addition, these people said that almost every morning checking over the prisoners mock: removed from the chambers and put to the stretch, then beat in the legs and cause pain, with applied cuffs, and a “plop”. All respondents talked about the same camera, which is all of them at different times were placed and which Dading called “torture”.
According to Kalyapin, two people with whom they spoke to said that while they led to human rights activists, told them they “did not speak superfluous, and generally kept quiet”. In addition, it was found that on the evening of 7 November, eight people who were trying to attract the attention of the members of the HRC, were taken in a neighbouring colony. As explained Kalyapin, one of the convicted, the eight people tried to organize a protest, escaped from the squad and “climbed onto the roof with a poster”. “Where are these people is unknown,” he said.
