Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the decree about creation of the all-Russian public organization “Russian culture Fund”. The document is published on the official portal of legal information. The decree entered into force from the date of publication, October 31.

The Fund is created “for the purpose of consolidating the efforts of States and civil society to create the conditions to encourage the population to self-actualization, preservation of cultural values, revival of cultural traditions, ensure the promotion of Russian culture and development of cultural potential of subjects of the Russian Federation,” reads the text of the decree.

The founder of the Fund will be the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation. The Supreme management body is the conference convened by resolution of the Board of the Fund. The Council is a permanent collegial elected body that runs the organization between conferences.

The Cabinet of Ministers, the President instructed to transfer the necessary Fund of Federal property to ensure its placement in Moscow to approve the procedure of granting him subsidies, and in the draft budget for next year to lay money on subsidies.
