The Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at the Paris conference of the UN on issues of climate change and discussed the bilateral coordination mechanism between the military of Russia and Israel.

“I note that you created on Your initiative the mechanism of interaction between the military in regard to the worsening situation in the region operates – and operates successfully,” said Putin, quoted by the official websiteof the Kremlin.

The Prime Minister of Israel agreed with the President of Russia, considering the interaction and coordination of military “success.” He stressed that in the battle against global terrorism involved more and more countries, and expressed hope that Russia and Israel will move on the path of cooperation “on the ground and in the air”, and it will be “not only military cooperation”. Putin noted that Moscow is satisfied with the development of bilateral relations.
