Russian President Vladimir Putin said that giving maximum freedom to business in Russia is the best response to the sanctions imposed against the Russian economy, reports “Interfax”.
“It is important that we have a common understanding of national priorities and overall approach. He is to give businesses the maximum freedom,” – said the head of state, speaking at the Congress of the entrepreneurial organization “Business Russia”.
This “best response to any external restrictions and no alternative path for the well-being of our citizens,” stressed the head of state.
In addition, Putin called on authorities, including law enforcement, continue to expand the dialogue with the business community.
“I asked if the authorities continue to expand the dialogue, interaction with the business community. In this regard, including, of course, law enforcement agencies,” – said the President.
Putin also relies on an effective partnership between the regions and businesses on the formation of a “favourable business environment”.
In this regard, he suggested that at the next meeting of the Presidium of the state Council to see how the interaction between the regional authorities and business, and emphasized the need for a “uniform, high quality of the business environment across the country.”
The Congress of Russian public organization “Business Russia” dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the organization. The event was attended by the heads of Federal ministries and departments, regional authorities, representatives of major business associations, the owners and top managers of leading Russian companies. The forum is the discussion of topical issues on the economic agenda.
“Business Russia” – Union of entrepreneurs working mainly in non-oil – processing sector: in engineering, construction, light industry, agriculture and sphere of financial services, information technology and many others. The organization brings together entrepreneurs from 78 regions of the Russian Federation, 30 committees and 86 branch offices.
