Compiled once again the informal ranking of the richest wives of officials of the Russian edition of magazine Forbes leads the wife of the Deputy of the state Duma Alexander Nekrasov Elena Nekrasova.

She earned 646 million rubles – even more than the leader among the richest officials, the Minister for North Caucasus Affairs Lev Kuznetsov, the annual income of which amounted to little more than 582 million rubles (in the Forbes ranking were not taken into account data on the salaries of deputies of the state Duma and the Federation Council). Nekrasov has already got the stars out of the rich “second-half” last year, but this time escaped in leaders.

Second place the wife of Federation Council member and ally of Sergei Shoigu, Yuri Vorobyov Liudmila Vorobyeva also got in a rating of Forbes Woman in 2014, but then she took the fifth place.

On the other hand, the wife of the first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov (with an income of 61.2 mln rubles) and Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich (with an income of 60.5 million rubles) is not included even in the top ten.

In 2016 overall, the top ten richest wives of officials have declared incomes for a total amount of 2.1 billion rubles. Most in the top 10 wives State Duma deputies, mainly from the faction “United Russia”. However, there are spouses of senators, and only the “second half” of the press-Secretary of President Dmitry Peskov, the skater Tatiana Navka has earned almost 10 times more Peskov.

Data for the rating of the richest wives of officials were derived from published declarations of the officials of the presidential Administration, Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council members and deputies of the State Duma in 2016. Under current law, in their Declaration includes data on the income of their wives (or husbands) and children.
