ROC in the Bank “Peresvet” has ceased to give the amount above 100 thousand rubles, explaining that “negative information about the Bank”
Bank “Peresvet” imposed a limit of $ 100 thousand or 1,5 thousand dollars on the issuance of deposits.
According to the interlocutor of Agency TASS, restrictions on the issuance of deposits for these amounts was entered in connection with the recent negative information about the Bank.
“We have to provide ourselves with cash, so no issue until this week, more than 100 thousand rubles”, – said in a call centre, stressing that the appointment to obtain the contribution is not required. “It’s due to this hype, we can’t satisfy all applications,” explained “to Interfax” the employee of the Bank. According to her, the restriction will probably be removed next week.
Earlier in the media appeared information that the Chairman of the Bank “Peresvet” Alexander Shvets disappeared, and his whereabouts are unknown for several days. Later, the Bank denied information about the alleged missing top-Manager. The press service said that Shvets is on treatment, and the duties of the head of the Bank shall be temporarily performed by the Vice-President Pavel Panasenko.
And on the eve the international rating Agency Fitch has published a report that expressed concern about standards of corporate governance in the Bank “Peresvet” and lending policies. Analysts said the presence of the Bank’s balance of loans to companies, not leading real activity, in the amount of 12 billion rubles.
Financial and economic management of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) controls 49.7 per cent of the share capital of the Bank. Another 24.4% of the Bank belongs to the ZAO “Expocentre”, which is controlled by the chamber of Commerce and industry of the Russian Federation. Shvets holds a share of 12.8%. Victor Litvyakov control of 4.98%, Lidiya Makeeva – 4,5%, and Pavel Panasenko OOO “Vnukovo-invest” is 1.7%.
“Peresvet” is a member of the obligatory Deposit insurance and specializiruetsya on lending to legal entities, primarily large corporate clients and on attracting funds of legal entities By size of assets the Bank closes the sixth decade of Russian credit organizations.
The Bank in the first half of 2016 takes 41st place in terms of assets in ranking “Interfax-100″.
