Russian billionaire Arkady Rotenberg, which occupies 75-e a place in the list of the richest people in the country according to Forbes, sold shares in LLC “national gas group” and JSC “Nakhodka mineral fertilizer plant”, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “SMP Bank” Artem Obolensky, according to Forbes.

“Our project for the construction of a plant for the production of mineral fertilizers in the far East enters the homestretch,” – said in comments to Rothenberg, which was read to journalists. The businessman added that the joint project with Gazprom in gas production also “stepped onto the stage of establishing a joint project company”.

“Due to my increased workload on other business projects I’ve decided to exit this business,” explained Rothenberg, adding that the decision to transfer the projects Obolensky due to his “significant role” in them.

The billionaire said that Obolensky will continue to provide strategic leadership of the “SMP Bank” in the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. “I would like to wish successful development of this truly strategic projects for the Far East and Yamal. I hope that we will be able to run them as scheduled”, – said the businessman.
