Russian Federation reduced to 151 million rubles amount of funds allocated for the organization of the world football championship 2018.

It is stated in the government decree on amendments to the program of preparation for the world Cup. Relevant documents are available on the official portal of legal information on Wednesday.

According to the document, the total cost of implementing the program decreased from 631 billion which is 459, 9 million to 631 billion 308,5 million. The government has approved a waiver of the construction of a 240-meter tower in Samara, and the construction of temporary facilities on the territory of the Moscow stadium “Spartak” will be performed at the expense of the Federal budget, said TASS.

According to the document, 335 billion 7.2 million will be allocated from the Federal budget, 97 billion 174,2 million from the regional budgets, 199 billion 127,1 million legal entities. The expenditures of the Federal budget reduced from 335,159 billion to 335,007 billion.

Note that this reduction of the budget of the event is not the first. In June, the Cabinet office cut expenses to the 2018 world Cup almost 30 billion rubles.

2018 world Cup matches will be held from 14 June to 15 July at 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Sochi and Rostov-on-don.
