The representatives of the Syrian opposition said that Russia and the United States have offered a safe passage for militants from Eastern Aleppo. As reports Reuters, citing an unnamed representative of the opposition, the rebels will be able to leave the city the corridors within 48 hours.

According to the Agency, and ensure safe exit for all the fighters, their families, civilians on several corridors.

Special conditions are offered to the militants of the terrorist organization “al-Nusra Front (jabhat al Fatah al-sham”, banned in Russia). Its representatives will be able to move only from Aleppo to Idlib province. For the rest who want to leave the city, no restrictions.

The opposition claimed that the group in Aleppo have not yet given a response to such a proposal.

Earlier, Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that an agreement was reached on the meeting of military experts of Russia and the United States on Saturday, 10 December, in Geneva. According to him, the experts were asked to discuss the specific details for the withdrawal of the rebels from Aleppo.

Lavrov said that “if American experts again won’t change my mind, how they changed their mind a few days ago, and anything new is not put on the table, that is a very good opportunity to agree on how to finalize the settlement of the situation in Eastern Aleppo by leaving all militants.”
