Russia is ready to grant the Palestinian authority a multifunctional cultural and business complex on Putin street in Bethlehem. Construction of the MFC with the working title “Dar El Russia” (“House of Russia”) began in the first quarter of 2013 at the expense of the Russian businessmen. The street that built the complex, the municipality of Bethlehem in 2012, was named in honor of the President of the Russian Federation. In an interview to “Interfax” the leader of the Palestinian national authority (PNA) Mahmoud Abbas said that during the visit of Medvedev to the Palestinian authority will be open and the street name.
In addition, the Palestinian leader said that soon they are awaiting the arrival of Putin, and then in Bethlehem will open a major cultural, economic, and cultural multifunctional center that will bear his name.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Friday will arrive to Jericho for talks with Mahmoud Abbas. The day before he visited Israel, where he held talks with President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It is expected that Medvedev and Abbas “will synchronize watches” on topical issues of bilateral agenda and exchanged opinions on the current situation in the middle East.
