Bobsleigh Federation of Russia was disqualified Kristina Maruhnenko for the anti-doping rule violation, informs the press service of the Russian anti-doping Agency (RUSADA).

The athlete is suspended from all competition for four years. The period of Ineligibility begins on September 2, 2015. What the anti-doping rule was violated, it was not reported.

Manchulenko previously engaged in athletics and finished sixth in the long jump at the Russian Cup in 2014, but then moved to bobsleigh, where he spoke mainly on domestic competitions.

Christina was in the list 13 bobbers, which the all-Russian athletics Federation banned to participate in any international competitions.

The list included members of the national team in athletics of different years all age groups before switching to bobsleigh has had some success on the athletics field.
