The organizing Committee of the Tokyo international film festival on Wednesday, October 12, announced the intention to award the Prize of a samurai film Directors Martin Scorsese and Kiyoshi Kurosawa.

The award, which is awarded to veterans of cinema who continue to create innovative films and to pave the way to a new era in film was established in 2014, is reminiscent of The Hollywood Reporter.
