Scottish boxer Mike Towell, who died from injuries sustained in the ring, complained of headaches before the battle started. About this on his page in social network Facebook said the girl athlete Chloe Ross.

On Thursday, in a duel with Dale Evans Towell was knocked out in the fifth round. He left the ring on a stretcher, then was taken to hospital, where he was connected to an artificial lung.

“Michael had a lot of bleeding and swelling of the brain, – is spoken in the message. – He complained of headaches the last few weeks, but we cheated migraine stress before a fight.”

“My child lost his father, but he is very proud of his achievements. Today, after he was disconnected from the ventilator, he lasted another 12 hours. 12 rounds of wrestling for life, he fought to the very end and made them feel proud,” concluded Ross.

Before the fight in Glasgow 25 years Towell had 11 wins in the professional ring, with one draw.
