The Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky said that the biographies of heroes of the great Patriotic war, in particular, Zoe Kosmodemyanskaya and 28 Panfilov, should be treated as the lives of the saints. And impartial seekers of truth “will burn in hell”.

On Saturday, Medina made in the village of petrischevo, where commemorative events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the execution Kosmodemyanskaya – partisan and first woman hero of the Soviet Union (posthumously).

Emotional speech of the Minister was quoted by “Interfax”: “It (Kosmodemyanskaya) was a Saint, the same Saint, as the 28 Panfilov heroes, as hundreds and thousands of our ancestors, who gave his life and took a terrible death for our lives. To adopt their lives just as the lives of the saints… to Put their feat into question, there is something to look for under a magnifying glass, count – 28 or 38 (Panfilov) is to do the same, as did the police (…) who surrendered it to the fascists. The Germans 30 pieces of silver saved, as you know, they gave him a bottle of vodka for it. Yes it burns in hell! As will burn those who questioned, digging and trying to refute the feats of our ancestors.”

He promised to recreate in the Museum Kosmodemyanskaya petrishchevo, restoring the house where she spent the night before his execution.

Present at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin also said he believes Kosmodemyanskaya “national Saint”. “I want Petrishcheva became a place of worship for many people to the trails of glory and memory across our land, so abundantly watered with blood,” – said Rogozin.
