Seven soldiers of the Mexican army were killed in the crash of a helicopter belonging to the local Ministry of national defense, reports Reuters with reference to the press service of the Ministry. The incident occurred Friday night in the state of Durango in the North of the country.
The Ministry said that the helicopter Bell 412 crashed four kilometers from the town of El Salto in mountainous terrain during a training flight.
In total onboard there were eight people. One of them was hospitalized in critical condition. In the area of the incident are now carried out search and rescue operations: participants of operation looking for bodies of other military. The Agency, however, has canonized them to the lost.
