Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region opened a criminal case against 16-year-old, who 28 Jan performed a dance near the Eternal flame in the suburban Orekhovo-Zuyevo. About it reports a press-service of regional management SK. Proceedings were instituted under paragraph “b” of part 1 of article 213 of the criminal code (“Hooliganism”).

“January 31, 2017 in the media was published the information that in city Orekhovo-Zuyevo young people dancing on the monument to the heroes of the great Patriotic war. The incident was recorded by young people on video which was then laid out in open access in social networks”, – stated in the message.

According to investigators, on January 28 around 18:00 16-year-old, standing near the obelisk to the soldiers fallen during the great Patriotic war, he danced around the Eternal flame.

The SC stressed that the teenager “has expressed clear disrespect for society, acting on the motive of hatred against a social group “veterans of the great Patriotic war.”

Meanwhile the teenager, caught on video, has apologized in connection with the incident on his page in social network “Vkontakte”.

“Very sorry about what he did. Didn’t mean to insult the memory of fallen soldiers. Bring deepest apologies for the perfect stupidity of the act,” wrote Yegor Leukhin, assuring that video with his participation was made without any intent.
