SK in absentia arrested four Ukrainians for the attacks on dipuchrezhdeniya of the Russian Federation in Kiev and Lviv
Four citizens of Ukraine involved in attacks on the Russian diplomatic mission in the country in 2014 and 2016, arrested in absentia, reported on the website of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The investigators found that the attack on the Russian Embassy in Kiev in June 2014 involved the Ukrainians Vladimir Romantsov, Alexey Bakay Vladimir Nazarenko. They were defacing the property of the Russian diplomatic mission, and the latter also took part in the desecration of the national flag of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, in March 2016, to the attack on the Consulate General of Russia in Lvov and the desecration of the national flag of the Russian Federation involved the people’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 8th convocation Volodymyr Parasyuk.
On the basis of the proofs collected by a consequence, including video recordings, obtained from public sources, and the results of forensic examinations, these citizens are charged with violating part 2 of article 360 of the criminal code (“Assault on the institution that enjoys international protection, perfect to complications of international relations”). Nazarenko and Parasyuk also charged under article 329 of the criminal code (“Abuse of State flag of the Russian Federation”).

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies in these two attacks on Russian diplomatic missions conduct their own investigation, but to date, no criminal responsibility is not involved, noted in SK the Russian Federation.
“Despite the fact that the Ukrainian side has actually refused the execution of requests of the Russian investigation on legal assistance, the Investigating Committee continues to work actively to identify and prosecute all persons involved in these attacks on the Russian overseas agencies”, – added in Department.
