Russian figure skater Evgeny Medvedev for the second time in a row won the Grand Prix Final, which this year was held in Marseille.

The current world and European champion received for the rental of any program 148,45 points, and a day earlier had set a new world record in points in the short program (79,21).

Thus, Eugene received a total 227,66 points and became the winner of the tournament.

“Today, any thoughts about records was not, the goal was to skate clean, but I’m not quite done, – said Medvedev reporters after the speech. After the error is realized, it is necessary to skate for fun and not to worry”.

Second in Marseilles became the Japanese Satoko Miyahara, who received over a short and arbitrary program 218,33 points. Rounded out the top three is another Russian Anna Pogorelaya (216,47). Maria Sotskova (198,79) scored a fifth score, and Elena Radionova (188,81) took sixth place.
