The Opera soloist of the State academic Bolshoi theatre Irina Udalova died Wednesday, October 12, at the age of 67 years.

On site theater reported that the honoured artist of Russia passed away after a long illness. The team is Large expresses its condolences to her family and friends. Date of funeral is not yet defined.

Irina Udalova was born in 1949 in Nikolayevsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai, graduated from the Kishinev Institute of arts. Sang in the Ashgabat state academic theatre of Opera and ballet named after Magtymguly, and in 1985 became the soloist of Opera troupe of the Bolshoi theatre. Her repertoire included the leading roles of “the Tsar’s bride”, “Queen of spades”, “Eugene Onegin”, “Faust”,”Love for three oranges”, “Turandot”, “Madame butterfly”, “La Traviata” and other productions.
