Tens of thousands of Koreans demanded the resignation of President Park Geun-Hye at the demonstration in Seoul. She apologized because of the scandal with her friend and even agreed to the questioning, but it did not change the attitude of the protesters. Amid the scandal, the level of public support for the Park Geun-Hye has updated the record of the fall and tumbled to its lowest level in 5%.
According to police, the demonstration was attended by over 40 thousand people. Some observers, and organizers are hoping to collect 100-thousandth of a share, saying that people came a lot more. So says journalist Reuters James Pearson, published in his Twitter photo demonstration, taken from the window of one of Seoul’s skyscrapers.
Police still say Seoul protest of 40,000+. Organisers say three or four times that. Police estimation seems low. pic.twitter.com/ZQY56MY7xs
