The owner of a controlling stake in London football club “Arsenal” American Stan Kronke intends to acquire a stake of Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov that exceeds 30%.

According to The Guardian, Usmanov Kronke offers almost 525 million pounds for 28 thousand pounds for each share.

Currently Kronke owns 67% stake in Arsenal, Usmanov – 30,4%. The rest of the team with 130 years of history is divided between minority shareholders, many of whom transmit their packets from generation to generation.

As the newspaper notes, Usmanov tried several times to wrest control of the London club, after a last attempt in may of this year. An unhealthy situation is complicated by the fact that the two main investor have virtually no working relationship with each other. While Usmanov is not achieved a place in Board of Directors “the Arsenal” and has never tried to influence any decisions.

It is also reported that the trust of Arsenal fans going to convince Usmanov to sell his share. Otherwise Kronke possess a share of 97% and will squeeze out other shareholders.
