The leader of the French group Space, Didier Marouani, who accused the people’s artist of Russia, singer and showman Philip Kirkorov for plagiarism, will not submit it to the court.
As told to “National news service” representing Didier Marouani lawyer Igor Trunov, November 30, will be signed a settlement agreement between his client and Philip Kirkorov.
According to him, the man himself has offered to settle all disputes on copyright. “I, as a lawyer, have drafted an agreement on the settlement of issues related to copyright. Didier Marouani in the air now, flying to Moscow. A preliminary agreement saying that first we sign a notarized agreement, and then publicly declare it,” – said Trunov.
However, according to the lawyer, some details still remain unclear: “this information is preliminary, but there is an agreement, the documents worked out, we order the notary.”
Earlier avtozavodskoe and musicological study conducted by ANO “Centre for forensic examination and research”,
recognized the music for the song “Cruel love”, which takes Philip, plagiarism on the hit Symphonic Space Dream written by Didier Marouani.
French musician demanded to ban Kirkorov to sing this song and to reimburse together with its author, Oleg Popkov 75,34 million. Marouani has filed a lawsuit in the Moscow city court, which however refused to consider it, since the dispute within the jurisdiction of the district court, not Mosgorsuda.
