The investigative Committee of the Crimea opened a criminal case against the chief doctor of the Republican clinical hospital. Semashko in Simferopol, which is in the center of the scandal around the salaries of managers of health facilities. According to site SK, the leader is suspected of committing a crime under part 1 of article 285 of the criminal code (abuse of power).

“According to investigators, the suspect, using his authority, issued orders, under which the hospital staff, including administrative and managerial staff, illegally installed and paid a premium for high-tech medical care”, – stated in the message.

In this regard, the interests of the hospital and territorial compulsory medical insurance Fund of the Republic of Crimea in 2016 “has suffered damage for the sum more than 17 million rubles.”

Currently, investigators conducted a complex of investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The criminal investigation is continuing, noted in SK.

About violations in the hospital, it became known last week. The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov said at a meeting on the results of the hospital internal review, which found: the hospital staff receive unreasonably high salaries.

The head of the Crimea ordered to dismiss the leadership of the hospital.
