About this “Interfax” reported the senior assistant of the head of the local Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Elena Matafonov.

According to her, in the period from September 2012 to February 2013 in children’s hospital did not have the necessary doctors, so the boy born in 2012 in time is not diagnosed eye disease, which led to the deprivation of vision.

“Officials of the Kamchatka regional children’s hospital responsible for providing medical care to the population. Due to the unfair and negligent relation to service, they failed to take adequate measures to appropriate execution of its responsibilities to organise sufficient staffing levels of the medical staff,” – said the representative of the UK.

In fact the incident a criminal case under part 1 of article 293 of the criminal code (negligence). Investigators currently establish the circumstances of the incident.
