The football Association of England (FA) has sent Sam Allardyce resigned from the post of chief coach of the national team because of a corruption scandal. Acting appointed Gareth Southgate, who works with the youth team.

“Allardyce inappropriate behavior to the head coach of England. He understands that he made a significant mistake, and apologized. However, due to the seriousness of the incident and the FA Allardyce decided to terminate his contract immediately. Acting head coach of the England team in the next four matches will be Gareth Southgate,” – said on the FA website.

Recall that 61-year-old Allardyce was exposed during a 10-month journalistic investigation of the newspaper The Telegraph, aimed at finding corrupt officials in English football.
