The CPS has received assurances from the Ministry of health of Turkey that it is already taking measures to improve the epidemiological situation in the resorts of the country, reports “Interfax”. Yesterday the Russian Agency acknowledged unsafe travel conditions in the area of the Turkish Gulf of Antalya.

In Rospotrebnadzor reported that “the response to the service request from the Ministry of public health of the Ministry of health of Turkey on the epidemiological situation in the province of Antalya”.

“The Ministry of health of Turkey have been instructed to adopt measures to improve sanitary conditions, monitoring of complaints of tourists,” – said the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

It will also continue the thorough disinfection of common areas, primarily swimming pools.

The Russian foreign Ministry, Russian Embassy in Turkey and the CPS are in talks with Turkey on coordination of actions aimed at stabilizing the situation.

“Rospotrebnadzor has prepared a memo for the prevention of Coxsackie virus for tourists. The territorial bodies of Rospotrebnadzor instructed in detail to advise consumers of tourist services and to assist them in the preparation of claims and lawsuits in case of violation of the rights of consumers”, – said the press service.

On Friday, the CPS responded to the outbreak of Coxsackie virus in the Gulf of Antalya, coordinating its position with the Russian foreign Ministry declared the region unsafe for health tourists. When this situation is recognized as not requiring urgent evacuation of citizens.

As follows from the text of the memo of the Russian Ministry of health, published on the Agency’s website, the Coxsackie virus belongs to the enterovirus infections clinical manifestations that range from mild fevers to severe meningitis.

Disease Coxsackie virus begins with the rise of body temperature to 39-40 degrees. There is a strong headache, dizziness, vomiting, and sometimes pain in the abdomen, back, seizures, often severe catarrhal manifestations from the oropharynx, upper respiratory tract. The appearance of similar complaints urgent need to isolate the patient, as it is a source of infection to others, and to seek medical attention.

Prevention measures must be in compliance with the rules of personal hygiene, observance of a drinking mode (boiled water, bottled water), a thorough treatment used fruits, vegetables, and subsequent rinsing with boiling water.
