The defense Ministry criticized the U.S. approach to humanitarian aid to Aleppo, the Eastern part which is under seige by Syrian forces. Agency spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that Russia in recent months has delivered more than 100 tons of humanitarian aid, and the United States did not bring “bread crumbs”.

Konashenkov commented on the statement of the official representative of US state Department John Kirby about the lack of benefit from the ongoing Russian humanitarian pauses in Aleppo. The latter was announced on 4 November. “Such statements (USA) once again show how different the us state Department with the understanding of “good” humanitarian pauses … Only in recent months in Aleppo, we delivered more than 100 tons of the most necessary goods – food, medicines and basic necessities. All this was given to all the residents of Aleppo, with no restrictions on the Western or Eastern part”, – said the representative of the Ministry of defense.

“Please note, when journalists recorded the shelling of residential areas is, in the opinion of the state Department – “al-Nusra” (a terrorist organization banned in Russia), and when the areas where it was fired, forced to respond to the Syrian troops, the state Department says attacks on the “opposition”. “Useful” in the sense of the state Department, aid, as we have seen is a convoy of trucks, which without the right of inspection and control, accompanied by mortars of large calibre, should be directed only to the Eastern part of Aleppo,” Konashenkov was quoted by TASS.

In Aleppo, November 4, operated another ten-hour humanitarian pause. Russian and Syrian air force for 19 days did not strike at this city, said yesterday the Ministry of defence.
