The statements of the convicted civil activist Ildar Dading on the application to it of torture in the Karelian colonies was not confirmed, said the Deputy Director of the FSIN Valery Maksimenko.

“By results of check the facts of unacceptable methods of influencing the Dading, unlawful use of physical force against the convict, in connection with which had caused harm to his health, his confirmation is not found”, – quotes the words Maksimenko “Interfax”.

According to him, Dadine not found physical damage “or doctors of the Federal penitentiary service nor the Commission of civil doctors of the district hospital nor the doctors at the hospital in Petrozavodsk”.

He said that Dading who gave written consent to undergo the polygraph from an independent specialist after without explanation refused to do so. Note that the wife Dading alleges that it is a lie.

“He also refused to pass a new EEG at the doctor Payne,” – said the Deputy head of the FSIN. According to him, the penitentiary after receiving a formal opinion from the investigating authorities “puts a stop to this point.”

Maksimenko thanked human rights activists and media representatives who “did not succumb to provocations, remain independent and unbiased opinion.” He also called the Dading “a very talented imitator”. “Dading is just a very talented simulator with stunning artistry and amazing imagination”, – said the representative of the FSIN. However, he noted that among the human rights community there were those representatives who, by contrast, was deliberately trying to destabilize the situation.

Ildar Dading – the first and only in Russia convicted under article 212.1 after her appearance in the new edition of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation in the summer of 2014. In December 2015, he was sentenced to three years in a General regime colony. In March 2016, the Moscow city court has mitigated the sentence to activist for six months.

In September, Dading was transferred to the correctional colony No. 7 in Segezha in Karelia. November 1 published a letter from the Dading IK-7, in which he told about torture and humiliation in prison. November 11 was published a second letter the Dading in which he informed about the ongoing torture. The next day it became known that the activist convicted examined by an independent doctor-epileptologist Vasily Generalov. Moreover, it was reported that the data on the results of the survey differ: human rights activists claimed that he recorded the damage caused to health, and in FSIN declared that the body of an activist is not visible damage. While the doctor’s statements were made approximately two months after the Dading allegedly beat.
