The residents of the Karelian Kondopoga at the meeting with the presidential envoy in the northwestern Federal district, Nikolai Tsukanov asked about his relationship to the program of renovation in Moscow. “There is Russia, is the capital. And it is clear that there is a budget completely different than in the Republic and any other (region). Most tools today are accumulated around the capital, because it is a financial centre,” explained the former Kaliningrad Governor.

Tsukanov added that owns apartments in Moscow five-story building and was opposed to its demolition. “I am 15 years old lived in the five story building in Moscow, and I personally don’t want it demolished. If you ask me, well, there is, to vote – and I have owned this apartment – I’m against it, because the house still will last 50 years”, – he explained.

As the newspaper notes, the question of renovation for residents of Kondopoga is not accidental – some homes in the city long ago for 80, and no question of demolition is not even a question. “The housing that we see in Moscow, it is not the worst in comparison with the whole country”, – quotes Nikolay Tsukanov FlashNord.

We will remind, the Moscow authorities on may 2 published a list of 4566 five-story building, which can be included in the renovation programme. Federal law on the renovation is not yet adopted, however, in the capital have organized a vote on the program. It is assumed that demolition will go to only those houses where the inhabitants of two thirds of the apartments will vote for.
