The former press Secretary of Russian President Boris Yeltsin and his special envoy for developing relations with the European Union, and a former aide to President Vladimir Putin, Sergei Yastrzhembsky can get the award “Oscar”.
After retiring from politics, he worked on documentaries in the most exotic corners of the planet, and now his documentary “Bloody ivory” (Ivory. In 2011 the film of Yastrzhembskiy “Africa – blood and beauty” was included in the competition program in the category “World documentaries” Festival of world cinema held in Montreal.
